Ideas turn up while you're driving. Projects stop halfway. Supplies vanish into a drawer in a room you weren't thinking about. Inspiration ends up in tabs and screenshots and a notebook you can't find.
And then you decide you're just bad at this.
The tools were built for people whose lives run in a straight line. Nobody's does.
Not losing it losing it.
Just putting it down somewhere and never seeing it again.
I've bought the same markers three times. Different drawer, different room, no idea. I've found half-made things in bags under the stairs with no clue what I was going for, only that I cared about it once.
And if you'd asked me what I made last year, I'd have said not much, honestly. I'd have been wrong. There was just nowhere keeping track.
What I needed wasn't another to-do list. It was one place to put the whole thing. The photo that started it. The blue I kept coming back to. The stuff I already owned. The reason I cared in March that I'd forgotten by May.
Structure, but not the kind that turns making into work before you've even begun.
So I built it.

Work pauses. It turns into something else. Sometimes it teaches you the thing you needed and never gets made at all. Still counts.
No cataloging your whole creative life before it's any use to you. It fills in as you go. Or it doesn't, and that's fine too.
No streaks, no nagging, nothing marked late. Sometimes what you need isn't accountability. It's somewhere that holds your place until you can get back.
Your creative history isn't a performance review. It's just evidence of what pulls at you.
Creatette might sort things, suggest things, help you start. It doesn't make anything. That part's yours.
That's most of us.
People who think in colors before words. Anyone coming back after burnout, or illness, or caregiving, or a job that ate the whole year. Beginners. Lifers. People with nine mediums and no lane. People who still won't say "I'm creative" out loud.
You don't have to get more productive first. Start where you are.
