Creatette is one place for everything between 'I've got an idea' and 'I made this.' It holds your inspiration on Spark Boards, carries the spark into Projects, tracks your Supplies so you never buy the same thing twice, and reflects your creative history back to you through Your Creative Self.

What is a Spark Board?

A Spark Board is a freeform canvas where you put the actual color, photo, font, voice note, or link — not a description of it. Double-click the canvas and it's caught. Move things around until it looks like it does in your head. Ask what's the vibe and Creatette reads the whole board back to you. When a board catches, it turns into a project and everything comes with it. Most boards don't become anything, and that's fine.

Is Creatette free?

Yes. Free to start, no credit card required. The free plan includes 50 Spark Boards, 5 projects, 250 supplies and 250 wishlist items, 25 Vibe and Direction uses, and CSV export. A Pro plan is $7/month (or $60/year) for unlimited everything plus creative assistant access.

Who is Creatette for?

People who think in colors before words. Anyone coming back after burnout, illness, caregiving, or a year eaten by something else. Beginners. Lifers. People with nine mediums and no lane. People who still won't say 'I'm creative' out loud. Anyone whose life interrupted a project. You don't have to get more productive first.

Who built Creatette and why?

Creatette was built by Jennifer Parr, founder of DIYvinci. She built it because she kept losing her own creative work — buying the same markers three times, finding half-made things in bags under the stairs with no idea what she'd been going for, saying 'not much' when asked what she made last year and being wrong. She needed one place for the whole thing: the photo that started it, the color she kept coming back to, the supplies she already owned, the reason she cared in March that she'd forgotten by May.

Is my data private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everything is private by default. Your half-formed ideas aren't content. Nothing is visible to anyone unless you choose to share it. You can export everything at any time — Creatette should never be the only place your work can exist.

What does 'set aside isn't failed' mean?

Accepted Answer

Projects in Creatette have a 'Set aside' status alongside Planning, Making, and Made it. A paused project isn't a failure — it's waiting. The idea, materials, and next step stay attached so you can come back three months later and pick it up without rebuilding the whole thing in your head.
